Control of fuel by sensors

Effective control of fuel consumption is an opportunity for development for owners of cargo fleets and oil depots. Prevention of fraud and theft associated with fuel. Understanding the real state of the engine and its fuel system makes it possible to take away the risks of non-fuel costs.

One of the most popular ways to control this application of high-precision fuel cell sensors is the capacitive type. Capacitive sensors have high accuracy in the entire measuring range.

Using the fuel level sensor allows:

  • Determine in real time the fuel level and fuel temperature in the tank
  • Calculate the fuel consumption according to the time indicators passed the distance
  • Determine fuel residues at the beginning and end of the shift
  • Determine the refueling "past the tank" and not authorized fuel plums
  • Detection of engine wear during operation by analyzing the dynamics of changes in fuel consumption

GLONASS-TV produces three types of fuel level sensor:

GL-TV 34 - fully digital fuel level sensor, with RS-232, RS-485 interfaces;
GL-TV AFD is an analog-frequency digital sensor. Outputs frequency output, voltage from 0.1 to 10 volts, digital output RS-485;
GL-TV BLE - a capacitive fuel level sensor with Bluetooth Low Energy radio interface with an autonomous power source. The sensor combines the advantages of wired sensors and wireless connectivity to various devices - smartphones, satellite trackers, terminals, laptops, hospitals and industrial computers with Bluetooth 4.0 or a newer Bluetooth implementation. The sensor has a working range of 100 meters in line of sight and a battery life of more than 6 years.
